Students with an MA in ethnomusicology or a comparable degree may apply for admission to the KUG’s scholarly doctoral studies program as a candidate in ethnomusicology.

Length of program: six semesters
The program is predominantly research oriented with only a few taught courses.
Dissertation on an ethnomusicological topic based on original research, in German or English language
Continuous quality assurance measures by internal and external advisors and reviewers
